Our branch Annual General Meeting is open to all UNISON Manchester members, and it’s where we discuss current issues and set branch policy for the coming year.
To maximise member participation, we hold our AGM in both physical and virtual form. This meeting is a vitally important event for the branch. All members are strongly encouraged to attend to see what the branch has achieved over the previous year and to vote on motions that will set policy for the forthcoming year.
We are hosting an aggregate AGM, which provides two opportunities for members to attend. For voting purposes, please ensure that you only attend ONE of these meetings.

If you plan to attend the physical meeting at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, 25 March 2026, then you do not need to register in advance. Please arrive shortly before the meeting starts so that your details can be recorded at the registration desk outside the meeting room in the Friends Meeting House.
A free buffet will be available at the physical meeting, and attendees at both sessions will automatically be entered into a £100 prize draw.
If you plan to attend the virtual meeting at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, 25 March 2026, then you need to register for a ticket via Eventbrite. Our virtual meeting will be hosted on Microsoft Teams.
